Dear Friends,

I am honored to present the importance of engaging with Friends of Marci in today’s society, particularly to ensure quality care for your ageing parents. 

As my parents’ health declined with age, it became clear that their care would significantly affect our family. Despite having siblings, we found ourselves unprepared for the challenges ahead ranging from managing daily activities and medication to providing companionship and advocacy during vulnerable moments. The absence of a comprehensive plan quickly became overwhelming, highlighting the critical need for robust support systems. 

As the youngest of eight children raised by immigrant parents from the Philippines, I witnessed their unwavering dedication to providing us with a high standard of living while preserving our family’s unity and God centered. The passing of my mother, Marcelina Ramos Milan, in May 2023 was a pivotal moment. Inspired by her legacy of compassion, resilience, and service, I founded Friends of Marci—a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting families with professionals committed to enhancing the wellbeing of senior citizens. 

Friends of Marci is committed to delivering superior services that assist families in proactively planning for elder care. We provide guidance for navigating the complexities of caregiving, helping families avoid being unprepared for unforeseen circumstances. 

Established in memory of my mother, Marcelina Ramos Milan (1928–2023), Friends of Marci is dedicated to making a meaningful impact. We are committed to supporting you throughout every stage of your caregiving journey.
